ER-Telecom’s IFRS net profit advances 32% to 2 bln rbl in H1

MOSCOW, Aug 17 (PRIME) -- The net profit of ER-Telecom Holding, one of Russia’s largest Internet and pay TV providers, increased by 32% to 2.092 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Tuesday in a statement.

Revenue rose by 14% to 28.295 billion rubles. Of the total, revenue in the segment of private users shrank by 1% to 14.564 billion rubles, and revenue in the segment of corporate users jumped by 37% to 13.731 billion rubles.

Operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) increased by 12% to 10.82 billion rubles, and the OIBDA margin reached 38%.

Capital expenditures decreased by 5% to 4.935 billion rubles. The net debt stood at 66.920 billion rubles as of June 30.
